Marina immigrated from Europe to New Zealand with her Kiwi husband and two sons in 2000. She has worked in various hospitality and tourist industry roles in New Zealand and Germany. As a qualified nanny she became involved with the AuPair industry in 2008 feeling the need to support and assist overseas AuPairs in their cultural exchange. Since then she has supported and taken care of hundreds of European AuPairs arriving on New Zealand's shores. Marina heads the Pukeko AuPair Club and has developed a successful programme which engages and challenges the AuPairs during their stay in New Zealand.
Vera has been in the travel industry for more than 18 years. Grown up with the desire to travel she has learnt the profession from scratch. She graduated with the Certificate of Examination for touristic travel business and has undergone a thorough apprenticeship in tourism. She has been self employed with special interest tours while her passion for travel has exposed her to more than 40 countries around the globe. Since her immigration to New Zealand in 2004 with her husband Klaus she is working as city guide, became member of the guiding association Proguides, organises tours under her own travel label and runs Fernglen B&B.
Franziska is a mother of two girls, age 22 and 25. She immigrated with her husband Martin 20 years ago to New Zealand. She loves the outdoors, fly fishing and to care for the Pukeko Aupairs.
